Bailey Tanks are made from an extremely tough but flexible type of plastic called polyethylene, which has been used in industry for liquid storage for many years. The tanks are extremely strong and long-lasting; they won’t rot, crack or rust. And since they’re moulded in one piece, there are no joints or weak points where leaks could occur. In addition, the colour is permanently moulded in, so it will stay looking great.

Polyethylene is food grade approved and is the same material that is used for water pipes, so all Bailey Tanks are safe for drinking water.

All Bailey Tanks are UV stabilised to protect them from the sun. Tanks should last over 20 years.

You can install these tanks yourself, they are light and easy to move. Place them on a firm foundation with no sharp or protruding objects. Pipe any overflow away to prevent erosion. Inlets and overflows can be cut into polyethlene using standard woodworking tools, while your outlet valve can be screwed directly into the BSP outlet provided.
